This Purchase Options Cancellation Policy explains how Chapie VIP memberships and recurring product subscriptions work, including billing, cancellation, credits, benefits, minimum terms, and subscription management. This policy works together with our Terms of Service, Return & Refund Policy, Shipping Policy, Privacy Policy, Product Disclaimer, and any product-specific terms posted on our website.


1. VIP Membership Cancellation & Terms

Overview

The Chapie VIP Membership is a recurring monthly membership, currently priced at $4.99 per month unless otherwise stated.

VIP membership benefits may include member pricing, free standard shipping on eligible orders, Member Credits, early access, exclusive drops, VIP-only products, and other benefits offered by Chapie from time to time.

VIP pricing, benefits, eligibility, exclusions, and terms may change with advance notice where required by law. If you do not agree to updated terms, you may cancel your membership before the changes take effect.

Billing Authorization

By enrolling in Chapie VIP, you authorize Chapie or its payment processor to automatically charge your selected payment method on a recurring monthly basis until your membership is canceled or otherwise terminated under this policy.

VIP membership charges are billed monthly and are non-refundable once billed, except as specifically stated in this policy or required by law. We do not provide refunds, credits, or prorated refunds for partially used billing periods, unused benefits, or canceled memberships.

Minimum Billing Term

Chapie VIP has a minimum billing term of three (3) monthly billing cycles when a member uses VIP benefits during the membership period.

VIP benefits include, but are not limited to, VIP member pricing, discounts, free standard shipping, Member Credits, store credits, access to VIP-only products, early access, exclusive drops, and other member-only benefits.

If no VIP benefits have been used, Chapie may allow immediate cancellation before the end of the minimum billing term.

If VIP benefits have been used, canceling the membership stops future auto-renewal after the minimum billing term has been completed, unless Chapie approves an early termination option under the section below.

Early Termination and Benefit Reconciliation

If a customer requests to end a VIP membership before completing the three (3) monthly billing cycle minimum, Chapie may offer an early termination option at its discretion.

Under the early termination option, Chapie may cancel the VIP membership immediately and refund VIP membership fees paid during the applicable membership period, provided that the customer reconciles the VIP benefits used during that period.

Benefit reconciliation may include repayment or deduction of the value of benefits used, including but not limited to:

  • Free standard shipping used on orders during the membership period
  • VIP discounts or member pricing received during the membership period
  • Member Credits or store credits issued or used as part of the VIP membership
  • Other VIP savings, promotional benefits, or member-only benefits used during the membership period

For free shipping reconciliation, Chapie may use the standard shipping value that would have applied to the order if the customer had not been a VIP member.

If a VIP-exclusive product was purchased during the membership period, Chapie may require the VIP-exclusive product to be returned in eligible condition before refunding VIP membership fees or completing early termination.

Chapie may issue an invoice or provide a written breakdown showing the membership fees, benefits used, and any reconciliation amount owed or deducted.

Early termination, benefit reconciliation, refunds, deductions, and return requirements are handled at Chapie’s discretion and to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Cancellation

You may cancel future auto-renewal of your VIP membership at any time through your customer account.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period if the minimum billing term has been completed or if no VIP benefits have been used.

If VIP benefits have been used and the three (3) monthly billing cycle minimum has not yet been completed, cancellation will take effect after the minimum billing term is completed unless Chapie approves early termination.

After cancellation becomes effective, your VIP benefits will remain active through the end of the billing period that has already been paid.

Canceling your VIP membership does not automatically cancel orders that were placed while your membership was active. Order cancellations, returns, and refunds are governed by our Return & Refund Policy.

Member Credits

VIP members may receive up to $60 in Chapie Member Credits per year, issued as $10 every two (2) months beginning on the membership start date, unless otherwise stated.

Member Credits are treated as promotional account credits. They are not cash, gift cards, or banked funds.

Member Credits have no cash value, are non-transferable, are not eligible for refunds, cash redemption, or exchange for cash, and expire 12 months from the issue date unless otherwise stated.

Member Credits may be used only toward eligible Chapie purchases, subject to the terms stated at the time the credit is issued.

Member Credits may not be used to purchase additional VIP memberships, gift cards, or other excluded products unless Chapie specifically states otherwise.

Receipt, accumulation, or full use of Member Credits is not guaranteed and is not a condition of membership value. Credits may be subject to product eligibility, account status, timing, or other restrictions.

VIP Benefits

VIP membership benefits may include, but are not limited to:

  • 25% off eligible full-price Chapie products
  • Special member pricing on select VIP-only products
  • Free standard shipping on eligible orders
  • Member Credits, when available
  • Early or exclusive access to limited-edition, VIP-only, archival, or special-release products
  • Access to select influencer collaborations or member-only product drops, when available

Benefits, discounts, product eligibility, exclusions, and availability may vary by product and may be modified, limited, or discontinued at any time, to the extent permitted by law.

VIP Discount and Promotion Rules

Eligible VIP benefits may be combined with each other, including VIP member pricing, free standard shipping, Member Credits, and store credits, unless otherwise stated.

VIP benefits cannot be combined with non-VIP promotional discounts, including email discount codes, sitewide discount codes, public discount codes, automatic promotional discounts, limited-time sales, influencer codes, affiliate codes, referral discounts, bundle discounts, free gift offers, shipping promotions, or other non-VIP promotional offers unless Chapie specifically states otherwise.

If a customer is eligible for both VIP benefits and a non-VIP promotional discount, Chapie may limit the customer to one promotional discount, apply the offer Chapie determines is most appropriate, or require the customer to choose one offer.

Chapie reserves the right to cancel, adjust, refuse, or correct any order where VIP benefits, discounts, credits, shipping offers, or promotions are combined in a way that was not intended, caused by a technical error, or violates this policy.

Fair Use, Eligibility, and Termination

VIP membership is intended for personal, non-commercial use only.

We reserve the right to suspend, limit, or terminate a VIP membership at any time for misuse, abuse, excessive or unintended discount usage, suspected fraud, resale activity, payment failure, account manipulation, violation of our policies, or other activity Chapie determines is inconsistent with the intended use of the VIP program.

Termination for misuse, fraud, abuse, resale activity, or policy violation may occur without refund of previously billed membership fees or unused benefits, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Account and Payment Responsibility

Members are responsible for maintaining accurate account, contact, billing, and payment information.

Failed or declined payments may result in paused, suspended, or canceled VIP benefits until payment is successfully processed.

If your payment method fails, Chapie or its payment processor may retry the charge as permitted by law and by the applicable payment processor.


2. Recurring Product Subscription Cancellation Policy

Overview

Chapie may offer recurring product subscriptions, including lip care subscriptions or other recurring shipments. Product subscription details, including product type, delivery frequency, price, and billing schedule, will be shown at checkout or in the subscription offer.

Our Lip Care Subscription is a recurring purchase that typically ships once every two (2) months and may include lip balm, lip scrub, lip oil, lip butter, or other lip care products, depending on the subscription selected.

Billing and Renewal

By purchasing a recurring product subscription, you authorize Chapie or its payment processor to automatically charge your selected payment method according to the delivery schedule shown at checkout.

Unless canceled, recurring product subscriptions automatically renew according to the subscription frequency shown at checkout.

Subscription pricing, product selection, shipping charges, taxes, and discounts may vary based on the subscription offer, selected products, delivery location, and applicable promotions.

Cancellation

You may cancel your recurring product subscription at any time through your customer account.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current subscription period and will prevent future subscription renewals.

Orders that have already entered processing, been fulfilled, or shipped cannot be canceled or refunded, unless required by law or stated in our Return & Refund Policy.

Skip, Pause, or Edit

You may skip a scheduled shipment, pause your subscription, update your payment method, update your shipping address, or make other subscription changes through your customer account before the next order enters processing.

Skipped shipments are not charged for that cycle.

Once an order enters processing, changes cannot be applied to that shipment.

Processing Cutoff

All subscription changes, including cancellation, skipping, pausing, address updates, product changes, or payment updates, must be completed before the next order enters processing.

We recommend making any subscription changes at least 48 hours before your next scheduled billing or shipment date to reduce the risk that the next order has already entered processing.

Returns and Personal Care Items

Subscription orders are subject to our Return & Refund Policy.

For hygiene and safety reasons, personal care items, including lip balm, cosmetics, skincare, lip scrubs, lip glosses, lip oils, and similar products, are final sale once opened, used, or removed from their original sealed packaging.

No Long-Term Commitment

Recurring product subscriptions have no minimum purchase requirement or long-term contract unless a specific offer clearly states otherwise.

You are only charged for shipments that are processed under your active subscription.

Subscription Management

Subscription management is handled through your online customer account.

3. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to update or modify this Purchase Options Cancellation Policy at any time, to the extent permitted by law.

Changes will take effect immediately upon posting on our website unless otherwise stated.

Your continued use of a VIP membership, recurring product subscription, or other purchase option after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
